Group therapy
Existential group therapy brings strangers together as ‘fellow travellers’. It’s not unlike an adventuring party or a coven, only with less questing or spellcasting and more reflecting on shared human struggles.
Groups are typically long-term, ongoing and flexible. We don’t follow a workbook or curriculum. Instead, the group leader guides reflection on what you and other group members bring up during the session.
As we reflect on our thoughts, feelings and experiences, you’ll find opportunities to experiment with what you are capable of being and becoming in the presence of other weird, wild and wayward humans.
One advantage of group therapy is that group members develop genuine relationships with others in the group, which makes it possible to apply insights in real time while learning something about how you relate to the world and others. A second advantage is that it’s more affordable than individual sessions.
Group therapy sessions are priced according to the Green Bottle method, with subsidised, standard and pay-it-forward rates available: $45 / $55 / $65
While it is always best to believe in oneself, a little help from others can be a great blessing.

What Now? Life After a Change
Major life changes have a way of making the future feel suddenly illegible. What Now? is a twelve-week existential therapy group for adults navigating transition, uncertainty, grief, or identity shifts. If you’re sitting with the question of what comes next and finding it hard to answer, we’d love to hear from you.
Facilitated with Nadine Cortez, RP, Aphelion Wellness Therapy.
What Now? is currently accepting applications for a new cohort. Contact me to reserve a spot.
